The Adelpha Women's Group meeting will be changed in September, due to the Labour Day holiday. Instead of the usual first Sunday, the Adelpha meeting will be held on Sunday, September 12. If you have any questions, please contact Sue Jean.
This course is designed to help you regularly interact with the Bible by daily connecting with God through His Word and receiving "rhema" communication from God. There is a general meeting scheduled for Sunday, September 26, following the regular Sunday service. The meeting will provide an update of the next steps for Acts Fellowship. This meeting is not mandatory, however, all members and attenders are encourage to be present. There will be a time for questions at this meeting. Childcare will be provided. Please speak with any of the leadership team if you have any questions.
The Acts Fellowship community will be sharing communion together on Sunday, September 26, during our regular worship service. Come expecting to have a time to connect with God and express our gratefulness to Him for all of His blessings and grace.
These members of the Acts community have a birthday during September: Grace Kris - 5th, Anne Song - 25th, Rachel Lee - 28th. Take a few minutes to remember their special day by encouraging and blessing them; send a card, an e-mail, through Facebook, get a coffee or have a meal together. It's a time to celebrate!
Due to the change in Small Group structure for the fall, snacks after service are not being done by Small Groups for the next several months. So, members of Acts will be providing the snacks weekly during that time. Those who are scheduled to provide snacks for September are as follows: September 5 - Tom Lee, September 12 - Minnie and George, September 19 - Sandra and Juno, September 26 - Tanya. Mark Virkler, the author of "How To Hear God's Voice", will be giving a seminar on this subject at Catch the Fire (TACF) on September 10-11. A Bible study of the book of Ephesians is continuing. The next class will be on Saturday, October 2, 10:00am. We will be discussing Chapter 5 of the Study Guide, which covers Ephesians 3:1-13.
